The Wings Are Drying

01

The Energy

This week is feeling like something is landing.

Not dramatically. Not with fanfare. Just that quiet settling... like the moment after a storm when the air goes still and everything smells like rain and possibility and you realize the intensity has passed and left something new in its place. Something... cleaner.

The past few weeks have been a lot. For all of us. Fire horse energy, full moons, shadows surfacing, descents into parts of ourselves we'd been carefully avoiding. If you've been resonating with the transmissions I've been sharing, you know what I'm saying. If you've been in the chrysalis, feeling the dissolution, wondering when you'd recognize yourself again...

This week the energy begins to solidify beneath your feet.

The sun moves into Taurus and suddenly the invitation isn't to go faster or push harder or descend deeper. It's to feel the ground. To put your feet on the earth and notice that you're actually here. That you made it through something. That something new is taking shape even if you can't fully name it yet.

There's a feeling alive in me this week that I don't quite have a word for. Not hope exactly, hope still carries a little uncertainty in it, a little reaching for something that isn't here yet. This is more sure than that. More settled. Like standing at the edge of something beautiful knowing you're about to step into it... and feeling completely okay with not knowing exactly what it looks like yet.

Maybe you know this feeling too. Maybe you don't have a name for it yet either.

That's okay. Some of the most important frequencies we carry are the ones that live beyond language.

Taurus season is here. The fire has done its work. Now we build. Slowly. Sensory. With our feet on the ground and our wings finally, finally drying.

The Teaching

Let's talk about the butterfly for a minute. Because nature, doing what nature always does, embedded the whole teaching right into this beautiful creature and I can't stop thinking about it.

When a butterfly emerges from its chrysalis (btw, the technical word for this is eclosion, which I totally love) its very first instinct is not to fly. It's to hang. Upside down. Completely still. And wait.

It pumps fluid from its swollen abdomen into the tiny crumpled veins of its wings. Slowly. Methodically. Without rushing. It expels the metabolic waste that accumulated during the dissolution. It fuses together the two halves of its proboscis, the feeding tube it will need for its new life, into one working instrument. Integration, literally happening at the cellular level. Instinctively.

And then it just... rests. Knowing, without questioning how it knows, that it will fly.

Here's the part that stopped me completely: butterflies do not have to learn how to fly. The knowing is already encoded in them. The instinct is intact. It came through the goo with them. Through all of that dissolution and reformation and forgetting... the knowing survived.

They just need to let their wings dry first.

The struggle to break free from the chrysalis wall is not an obstacle to emergence. It IS the emergence. That resistance, the pushing, the effort, the difficulty of breaking through, is what pumps the fluid into the wings. If you cut the chrysalis open to "help", to make it easier, to spare the butterfly the struggle... it can't fly. The wings never properly fill. The help is a terrible hindrance.

The hard part was the mechanism all along.

So when we look back at everything the past few weeks moved through us... the depths, the dissolution, the moments of not recognizing ourselves, the uncertainty, the effort of breaking through... that wasn't happening TO us. That was pumping fluid into our wings.

And now. Taurus. Solid ground. The wings are drying.

There's something else to consider alongside the science, and this is where it gets really interesting. The butterfly does all of this without striving. Without performing. Without looking around to see if the other butterflies are further along or emerging more gracefully. It doesn't come at its own transformation from a place of scarcity or needing to prove anything.

It just becomes what it was always encoded to become.

No hustle. No forcing. No "am I doing this right?" Just the quiet, certain unfolding of its own nature.

Which raises the question I keep sitting with this week: what would it feel like to trust your own evolution the way a butterfly trusts its?

Not because you've done enough work to deserve it. Not because you can see exactly what's coming. But because it's encoded in you. Because your frequency knows what it's making. Because the wings are coming whether you fully believe in them yet or not.

And that feeling I mentioned earlier, the one I don't quite have a word for, the one that lives just beyond language, I think that might be what it feels like to start trusting that. To let the uncertain sensation in your body be excitement rather than fear. Anticipation rather than dread. To let the not-knowing feel like possibility beyond what your rational mind can even create.

That's not toxic positivity. That's not bypassing what's hard. That's what it feels like when the wings are almost dry and something in you already knows.

Something new is emerging from my journey through the chrysalis with you all, too, a framework I've been developing for mapping exactly where frequency gets interrupted in your life and your body. It's not quite ready to fly yet. But it's close... still drying. Stay tuned.

03

The Invitation

This week the practice is the hardest one I know.

Do less.

Not because there's nothing to do. Not because the work is finished. But because this part, the drying, the hardening, the integration, cannot be rushed. Cannot be forced. Cannot be optimized or hacked or moved along faster by trying harder.

This is the part that requires hanging.

So this week I want to invite you into something that might feel counterintuitive if you've been conditioned to measure your growth by your output. Just... be in what's emerging. Let Taurus hold you. Feel the ground under your feet. Notice what's different about you without needing to name it or explain it or post about it yet.

Here are the only three things I'd ask of you this week:

Hang.

Find a moment, one real moment, to be completely still. No input. No processing. No figuring anything out. Just you and your body and the ground beneath you. Outside if you can. Feet actually on the earth if possible.

Be.

Notice what's present without trying to change it. Just pure noticing. What does emerging feel like in your body right now? What's different? What's quieter? What's alive?

Know.

Let yourself acknowledge, even privately, even just as a whisper, what you already know. Not what you hope. Not what you're working toward. What you KNOW. The thing that doesn't need proof. The frequency that's been there through all of it. That's yours. It came through the goo with you, I promise. It's not going anywhere.

The butterfly doesn't celebrate its emergence by immediately proving it can fly. It hangs. It rests. It lets what happened... settle.

Remember, you've been distilled. Let it land.

And something I'm sitting with myself this week as I step away and take a reprieve... the moment I stop filling every space with doing, something always rises to meet me. Not because I summoned it. Because I finally got quiet enough to hear it.

That's the invitation this week. Get quiet enough to hear what's coming alive within you.

It knows what it's making. And so, somewhere beneath all the noise... do you.
