The Signal Travels With You

01

The Energy

This one is personal. But I've come to realize we're all truly in this together, and part of my life's work is to share what I learn as I move through my own ups and downs in this wild earth school, in hopes it helps you move through yours.

The astrology nerd in me has been watching closely. This past weekend's full moon brought themes of old identities falling away, limiting beliefs and inherited programming being pushed harder to the surface, truth demanding to be seen. And damn, did I feel all of it.

They say this week brings lighter energy. I want to believe that. But from where I'm standing, the rock tumbler just keeps tumbling... change on top of change, more to integrate before there's room to breathe. My logical brain knows it's all moving me in the right direction. But I've found myself genuinely challenged to trust that, moment to moment.

And maybe that's the work. Maybe that's exactly what I'm here to share this week.

02

The Teaching

There is a difference between groundlessness and being lost.

I want to stay with that for a moment, because I think we collapse them too easily, especially when everything is moving at once.

Groundlessness is what the body feels when the familiar structures shift. When a space you've called home for years changes. When the container that held your work, your rhythm, your sense of this is where I belong suddenly can't hold it anymore. The nervous system reads the loss of location as the loss of self. It's not dramatic. It's biological. We are embodied. We orient by landmark.

Being lost is something different. Being lost means the signal is gone.

There have been days recently when I felt like I could barely see through the dust of so many structures I held close to my heart falling away. Days where I forgot this core truth: the signal hasn't gone anywhere. The frequency I carry into the room when I show up to do what I do... it was never the room's.

The teaching in yoga talks about non-attachment. Abraham Hicks reminds us to stop paddling upstream. These aren't wrong. But they can feel thin sometimes when the crumbling is foundational. When it isn't one thing shifting but the whole floor. When you finally, finally felt like you knew what you were here to do, and were doing it, and then the universe seems to push the table again.

Non-attachment is easy to practice when you're not attached to something real.

But a space where you've held people in their most tender moments? A community you've built breath by breath, session by session, year by year? You're supposed to just... flow?

I think the teaching is actually more honest than that.

We don't just love these places and people. We become them, in our nervous systems. The body doesn't distinguish between I am here and I am this. So when they change, something in us reads it as: I am ending.

And that reading isn't wrong. Something is ending.

But ending is not the same as dissolving. The tower falls so the signal can travel further. The crumbling isn't evidence that you were wrong about who you are or what you're here to do. It's evidence that what you carry got too big for the container that was holding it.

The question the universe is asking isn't can you let go?

It's asking something harder.

Can you trust that the frequency travels with you?

That your work isn't located in a room. That your medicine doesn't live in just one place. That the people who are meant to find you will find you, even when you don't yet know the address.

I won't pretend that's easy to feel right now. Some days it isn't. Some days the dust is thick and the light is genuinely hard to find and trusting the process feels like a spiritual bypass of the very real grief of losing something that mattered.

Let yourself grieve it. That's not weakness. That's honesty. You can mourn a home and still walk out the door. You can feel the loss of a community and still carry the frequency that built it.

Groundlessness is not the same as being lost.

The signal is still here. It's just looking for a new room.

03

The Invitation

This week, I'm not asking you to let go.

I'm asking you to notice where you've confused the container with what it holds.

Where have you located yourself in something outside of you... a place, a role, a relationship, a routine... and started to believe that without it, you wouldn't know who you are?

You don't have to answer that out loud. Just let the question sit somewhere quiet in you.

And if you're in your own crumbling right now, if the dust is thick and the floor feels uncertain, see if you can find, even for a moment, the thing in you that hasn't moved.

That's the frequency. That's You. That's what travels.
