The Life You're Already Broadcasting
The Energy
Last week I shared my exasperation with the never-ending change energy we've been rolling around in for what feels like a whole lifetime at this point. And this week, well, I'm just throwing my hands up because it just keeps coming...
And now I'm not talking about your basic uncomfortable-but-I-can-see-where-this-is-going kind of change. I mean, the kind where you genuinely don't know what comes next. Doors closing. Others opening. The map dissolving just as you thought you charted the route.
I know you've been there too. If not in this moment, I can almost guarantee you've felt it sometime in recent months.
And somewhere in the middle of sitting with total uncertainty, we get to make a choice. It's not about performing okayness. It's not pushing through the roller coaster of emotions with manufactured positivity. But instead, we can take the opportunity to embrace uncertainty and intentionally choose where we place our frequency.
Personally, I've been through enough change now to know it's not stopping. None of us are getting off this ride. So at some point the question stops being why is this happening and becomes something quieter. Something more like... what am I choosing to see?
The energy this week has a quality of scales falling from our eyes. A clarity that's been trying to arrive for a while. Not just about what's happening out there in the world, but about how we see ourselves within it. Who we've been showing up as and what for. What we've been holding onto that was never really ours to carry.
And underneath all of that, something luminous is trying to come through.
I truly do believe life is working for me. Not in a bypassing-the-hard-stuff kind of way. In the way that only makes sense after you've moved through enough darkness to trust the light on the other side. My path is always being revealed. And even when I can't see the next step clearly, I can choose the frequency I bring to the not-knowing.
That's what I call Deep Frequency Living. And it's honestly what I am here to share with all of you.
The Teaching
Every moment is a choice point.
Some feel bigger than others, obviously. The ones where the doors are closing and the map is dissolving and you genuinely don't know what comes next. Those feel monumental. But the practice of choosing your frequency doesn't actually change based on the size of the moment. It's the same practice. Over and over. In the big moments and the mundane ones.
That's the whole teaching this week.
Deep Frequency Living isn't a destination. It's not something you arrive at and then maintain effortlessly. It's a practice of returning. Of choosing, again and again, where you place your energy and your attention. Of asking, even in the smallest moments: what frequency am I bringing to this?
For me, that practice lives in my rhythms.
Morning meditation. Alone time before the world asks anything of me. A strong yoga practice. Telling the people and animals I love that I love them. Every day. These aren't rigid obligations. They're the things I return to. The anchors that keep me tethered to my own frequency when everything around me is shifting.
And woven through all of it is a choice I make about the work I get to do in the world. Whether I'm teaching yoga, holding space in a sound bath, or sitting with a client one on one, I try to meet it all with "I get to do this." Not "I have to." Not "I should." That single reframe is a choice point. A small one. But it changes everything about how I show up.
And sometimes the rhythms of life ask for something different. This morning I woke up with a cold trying to take hold. My body sending a very clear signal. And so I made a different kind of choice. I stepped back from my practice. I taught one yoga class this morning but I canceled Common Ground tonight because to be honest, I didn't feel like I could hold the space properly. I released the obligations I could release. I let myself be slower, quieter, less than my usual pace.
And nothing fell apart.
That's also Deep Frequency Living. Knowing when the rhythm asks you to rest rather than push. Honoring the ebb as much as the flow. The practice isn't about rigidity. It's about attunement. Listening closely enough to know what this particular moment is asking for, and having the trust to give it that.
Now, let's get to the part that's harder to hear...
Your dominant frequency is what's being reflected in your life right now. In your relationships. In your work. In what keeps showing up, again and again. And when life feels like it's throwing nothing but struggle at you at once, the uncomfortable truth is that you are the common denominator.
I say that with so much compassion. Because nobody wants to hear it when they're deep in the thick of it. When everything feels hard and heavy and like the world is conspiring against you. I get it. I really do.
But here's the liberating part of that truth: if you are the common denominator, that means you have more power here than it feels like. You can shift your dominant frequency. Not by willing it into existence or mind-muscling your way through it. But by simply starting. By finding your rhythms and returning to them again and again. By making one small choice toward the frequency you actually want to live in.
One yoga class won't change your whole life. But it can absolutely change your whole perspective. A single sound healing session isn't going to magically unravel a nervous system that's been on full frazzle for years. But it can soften you just enough to find a small space to breathe. And that small space is where everything begins to shift.
The body, the mind, the spirit, they work together. They inform each other. When you start moving one, the others follow. The benefits compound as the practices become consistent rhythms. And the rhythms become the life.
That's where Deep Frequency Living begins. And it's closer than you think.
The Invitation
Start small. Seriously.
Pick one or two practices that genuinely call to you. Not the ones you think you should be doing. The ones that make you feel more like yourself when you do them. A morning meditation. A yoga class. A walk without your phone. Time to be creative and make art. Reading a book that opens your mind. Whatever it is, start weaving it into your days in a way that actually fits your life.
Make it manageable. Sustainable. Something you can return to without it feeling like another obligation on the pile. Overhauling everything at once tends to be a recipe for inconsistency. One rhythm, practiced consistently, will always outperform ten habits abandoned by Thursday.
And ask yourself this: what would I love to get to do every single day?
That question will tell you everything.
Then, watch for the moments when you slide into "woe is me" mode. You'll know them. The spiral. The story. The familiar weight of feeling like everything is happening to you. When you find yourself there, first, give yourself grace. Feel what needs to be felt. That part matters.
But then, see the choice point.
Is this really where you want to stay? Because wherever you linger, you invite more of that energy. Whatever frequency you're broadcasting, life has a way of sending more of it back. That's not a punishment. That's just how this works.
So when you're ready, ask: what would help me shift right now? A walk? A few deep breaths? A friend who will actually help you move through it rather than keep you comfortable in it? (And yes, that last distinction matters. Not all support is supportive.)
A yoga class. A sound bath. A session where someone holds space for your nervous system to finally exhale.
These aren't indulgences. They're the practice. They're how you build the life.
